I'm Eric Katsanovich, 14 years old, born March 19, 2012, from Los Angeles, California. I'm a dedicated dual-sport athlete, equally committed to both soccer and swimming.
My love for the game goes back to when I was just 3 years old, when my older brother first brought me to the park to kick a ball around — I was hooked from that very first touch. I've bled Chelsea blue ever since, and grew up idolizing players like Ronaldo and Neymar. Today, I study and learn from talents like Marc Cucurella, Nuno Mendes, Joshua Kimmich, Enzo Fernández, and Cole Palmer to improve my game.
A big part of my growth as a player comes from my training with MLES Academy under Marcel Lowitsch. Marcel's methodology has shaped the way I think about the game — not just technical reps, but how I read situations, make decisions under pressure, and stay disciplined. His individualized, detail-first approach has become central to how I train and how I carry myself on the field, and it's a big reason I've been able to keep developing at the pace I have.
Outside of sports, I enjoy playing padel and basketball, traveling with my family, and exploring new cuisines. When football season rolls around, I'm all in on the NFL — die-hard Niners fan through and through. I have an older brother who's playing college soccer right now.
